I guess the bears would not have bought in the 70's either...there would have been so many reasons why.... the world was in trouble, on all fronts....labor was in power...etc etc etc the hippies were smoking dope and out of their minds....on a huge party trip we did not have the immigrants like we have now... we did have sliced bread, and electricity.... but no internet... different breed of folks then....some still on withdrawels from the 2nd world war.... some of us were hooning around....(no drugs or alcohol for us) our fun was racing cars...racing the cop cars and beating them, dragging anyone any time....and hot rodding...Sat night was the biggest drags...we would start off in the main street....then up and down the hume highway, for a night of fun.... argh the good old 70s
