Anyone thinking IMU are about to bank $50m of R&D rebate is an imbecile.
IMU spent $86m on R&D in FY2024 and only accrued $4.6m for the FY24 R&D rebate.
Why?
Because >90% of IMU's R&D spend is conducted outside of Australia.
At $322k spend per day, IMU will be insolvent before the next Annual Report is due and FY25's forecast R&D rebate is published.
