I agree with your first sentence... but I find your main point a little hypocritical. You're dead... who cares where your bits go. Perhaps receiving an organ from a donor might be the spark which causes the recipient to realise the error in their decisions?
I also believe that organ donation should be more strongly encouraged, perhaps even mandatory (should certain criteria be met).
