Because moving averages are used as places to buy or sell by funds/institutions. Look at the downtrend from the high and look at where CU6 got sold every single time, first from the 50d, then the 20d and the 20d and the 20d etc until it finally got back above it recently, it then traded sideways in a tight range right on top of the 20d with volume drying up. You could also look back at the big uptrend and see where it found support, over and over again. Dummies use indicators, so you should keep using them
