I think you're over-cooking it, much like has been seen in all my years here with deal and data speculation. There's ALWAYS a deal coming, a black out period to explain no on-market buying by management, a flick of the hair by Leslie, a metallic finished avian in Paul Hoppers shareholder funded mansion.
The simplest explanation is usually the correct one.
Simple explanation: the bird's cooked. There is nothing coming to turn this around to the upside, there is only an imminent mass dilution event and a continued absence of deals or groundbreaking data to entice a major big pharma stake. They had two options:
1. Continue the status quo of staying quiet and hope for the best at the upcoming AGM (strike 2, batter out), or; 2. "Be transparent with shareholders" and hope they get some sympathy votes at the AGM and still hope for the best.
We have another opportunity here with the last being fluffed a couple years ago, to get these guys out and make way for better leadership. Let's get it done this time. DON'T let them slide out of this and reset the clock or we'll all be here again in 2 years time saying the same things under 1c.
