Blackkkkkkk I think you will find that most retail or industry superannuation funds will lend out their ASX listed shares there is no restriction on it. You will also find that most index funds will also lend out their ASX shares to enhance their income. Stock borrowing is not a new concept.
You may find some trustees choose not to lend their ASX shares but they will be in the minority.
