i think you are reading it not too bad - whether it is an overall correction or just a bit more sobriety in the speccie end we dont know for sure- yet!!

in about mid jan it ( some risk aversion )appeared to be starting, and then about two weeks ago we had quite a few days where the indeces were up but a lot of the species down - seemed that way again today but maybe i am holding the wrong stocks! - no i think my super was up today but a couple of trading accounts were down!

i often find that overseas instos views on our currency comes into contention - seems the view is a bit more bearish and that may have prompted some selling also

as an aside - kicks in stocks like platsearch (pts)the other day reminds me we are certainly at an advanced stage of a bull run in speccies- might be a few more opportunities though before it is all over!!

of course ccc doesnt rate as an absolute speccie because it is producing and it has a sizeable market cap - maybe the african connection qualifies it!
