I presume those who are anti abortion also abstain from using "the pill".
The contraceptive pill causes abortion by forcing flushing of any fertized egg.
I find physical abortion "worrying" without pretending to have an answer.
Some have suggested women may regret their decision later in life. For sure, but there are many that end up with children they didn't want and weren't able to raise in a nuturing way.
One of the main reasons for legalising abortion was because if a women wants to be rid of a child she will do it regardless. She can go elswhere to do it, she can do it illegally and possibly die from poor procedure, or she can kill the child when it is born.
Its an imperfect world.
The best solution would seem to be better contraception including "morning after" treatment. But of course that is still abortion to some.
