I think the hidden big plus for us it that there is almost 100% certainty that no new coal mines will be permitted in Australia over the next 3 years.

A once abundant commodity is now finite and we control a good portion of it.

People also forget that a push for renewables requires more infrastructure which requires more Met coal.

The only thing that will put a big dent on met coal sales is if US/China tensions heat up and trump puts pressure on Aus to stop met coal sales to china.

All this defence talk about critical minerals and the ESSENTIAL steel making capabilities are overlooked.

Australian Metallurgical Coal is at the Heart of China's rise.

A left leaning Australian Government is more likely to keep trade ties with China rather than closer align to America.

The irony of Chinese Navy ships circling Australia are undoubtedly made from Australian Iron Ore & Met Coal.

I am not anti/pro anyone. Just stating the obvious and the clear demand for coal.

Yep, will always be some price manipulation on the way, but I have 100% confidence investing in coal.

Hismelt steel is far from being viable.

Always hope for the best local & global outcomes, but invest on the facts & reality, not the blue-sky promises
