I hope you include yourself in that Lux. A vote for Palmer's mob was taking votes from the coalition. Taking votes form the coalition for a wet dream on a Trump look alike competition was a gift to Labor and directly resulted in them getting additional seats. Your choice so you got what you voted for.
Of coarse if some people spent more time on Australian politics and local issues rather than foreign conspiracies and idol worship then maybe the right in Australia may be better resourced and able to describe a reasonable vision of the future which more people can aspire too but instead the future of the right is tainted with a Musky smell and the sound of Trumpets. At some point you need to understand that the disgust of Trump has pushed many in middle Australia further to the left and have no doubt that this will repeat in many places in the world after recent events. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. If only Trump supporters understood irony.
Now we have to live with this socialist group having a larger majority and pushing through many of the more deplorable things in their agenda like the equal pay rules for which the sole purpose is mandated unionism. If everybody gets the same pay for the same job then you can't negotiate based on your own performance, effort, skills or experience. That would be against the law. The only way to get a pay rise is if everybody got one and that can only happen through collective bargaining, ie via a union. As the unions gain more strength so does the Labor party.
But buggered if the average person understands the agenda and how evil it really is any more than the average Trump supporter understands how their extreme actions will ultimately push more people to the left.
Personally just sick to death of extremists on both sides and their lies and deceit.
