The seller pays the Tariff, it's collected at the border.
Most will be absorbed but some amount of the larger tariff's could be passed on but thats ok because it will help build domestic investment and manufacturing aswell as supporting wages.
Mainstreet is looking forward to the Tariff's replacing their income tax, no tax on tips etc which is in the works. These tax cuts will more than replace any price hikes from some tariff's and also boost peoples ability to borrow.
People might also buy 3 or 4 stuffed dolls instead of 10.
