I still like Andre - despite all . Though hard to forgive him.
He certainly has guts to have kept on keeping on, and maintain his demeanour through all. I believe he was preoccupied with the RoundOak acquisition, and presentations and meetings to pass all and consolidate the shates into July when RO acquisition occurred - He was not fully watching the copper price which was falling down and suddenly then through support around & after mid year and into second half 2022? - he clearly was not in best contact with a commodity hedging desk team, All the new risk and much bigger company with multiple assets in different states, all requiring ongping development & significant exploration for upside , + also including several major development projects! They wanted & flattered to be a bigger company, SOL wanted to plant their resources assets for very longterm ahead - & AIS board just to comfortable position & Cracow bedded nicely after a decade nearly fraught. But ambitious for themselves to do more. But to go from being carefully & prudently hedged- to unhedged for forward years sales ..& with need for ongoing funds generation more than ever. Has to rest with the MD who paid to do the job.
Best is still the man who knows this completely now.
