Interesting one of the key reasons for going with the WHSP offer was the fact they required no hedging... It seems both parties are bullish on the overall trends of both gold and copper. Naturally the team at AIS suffer from ownership bias (as do I ) and can easily be blinded after recent runs on both prices... But I've always thought a prudent measure would be to lock in at least a portion of production whilst prices are at historically very high levels. Given the amount of smart minds on the payroll at Soul Patts I'd think they've done their long range forecasts, not that they're likely to be anywhere near accurate given the current global political environment... Patience will hopefully prevail here, glad to have the financing sorted so the team can focus on some solid production.
