Say you have two,3 bedroom houses in the same suburb in similar condition.One has a sale price of 120k,the other a sale price of 160k.Then the cheaper house builds an extension adding an extra room,means even better value for money and makes the dearer house seem even more exspensive in comparison.Simplistic analogy,I know,and only a comparison on reserves.
