LOL you believe the BS that comes out of Trump and the WH.
Increase tariffs raises costs and reduces demand, means lower profits for business so the lay workers on. Tax cuts are no good to the unemployed
On one hand you advocate for free trade while on the other you believe the tariffs are good. Which one is right, can't be both
