@daveironore I am glad you see the potential here as well and yes as the tariffs are sorted out then bhp and other blue chips will recover i was looking at it just today to work out levels I see $40 as next target on this run almost hit my first target of $38.60 today still churn for me from the hammer and high volume day of bhp of 7.4.25 on trumps tariff on 7.4.25 trumps tariff hammer saw bhp fall to $33.25 and the high intraday was over $35 on that day and has turned into the start of this run now churning back up quite excited. normally a quiet period. wds sto sfr all recovering I had $38.20 as resistance on the daily last few weeks. bhp is now through that and onto next level unless more volume comes in it may struggle to get through there easily especially in tax loss season but made a great start and given me some comfort to let bhp sort itself out
fundamentally i just see this as a great opportunity on a quality blue chip as it recovers to a reasonable price given its dividend. it is worth $48? once market recovers iron ore is the problem for bhp with china still struggling. chinas pmi is good this year and once the tariff is worked out should improve more september is normally the time i look to buy bhp but couldnt resist it at $33 level your charts are good and i am reading your posts and insights but not coming back. i hope you brought something on tariff day. chn back to $1.14 from 80c. buy the dips for mine on bhp for better days.
