I am forming a hypothesis about future energy demands and the Australian situation. Its not a complicated one. Energy demands go up (by a lot) due to electrification of everything, combined with AI, bitcoin, robotics etc. Clean energy is wanted but lots of energy is needed. This will put pressure on nuclear as well as fossil fuels. Renewables can't meet the gap. The pressure to provide more energy will be overwhelming and will cause a complete overturning of the current way of thinking.
Apart from investing in uranium miners, where else would be good? Existing energy providers - e.g. Origin, Santos, Woodside etc? Utilities - e.g. power station operators, transmission operators etc? Or do I need to look overseas?
Any thoughts? This is a 10 year plus outlook for me.
