I have a family member who works in clinical trials, all staff members need to declare any financial interests of any companies that come to the clinic. ie, if Rac were to come to her hospital, she has to to declare she has an interest in rac shares. She is unable to work on the trial and not allowed to buy any more shares. The hospital is very strict on the policy, staff can be dismissed for non compliance.
