I think in the haste to reply some of you have misread my post. It is not *my firm view* that the company has a funding gap, it is *my hypothesis* as to what those taking short positions think. I have previously mentioned it here: https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/78617468/single. Some have talked about the company being profitable - I think you might be falling for PNV spin. What they have said in that 9th April release is simply this: "The business is profitable with results in line with internal plans". That's a very loose statement that could be interpreted in any number of ways. Do they mean EBITDA profitability? Or actually producing NPAT? Over what time period is the business profitable? Does a business that has actually turned the corner and starting producing real profits normally eject its CEO at short notice? These are all questions that the shorters are likely asking. They may be wrong, but it's the most feasible explanation, in my opinion, for why the short chart has suddenly mooned since January.

As an aside, isn't it interesting how some posters are so keen to try and play the man, telling others to put someone on ignore, etc. It's almost like they can't handle a contrary view... on a stock discussion forum of all places...
