The error is thinking that because someone holds a different view to you, they must need to do more research. But this is HotCopper so I'm not exactly surprised...
I am aware they made a 1H NPAT of $2.4M (p9 of the HY report).
But I am also aware over the same period, they were cashflow negative to the tune of -$19.2M (p12).
If you chart the cash balance (as I did in the earlier post I linked to), you can see which way it has been going. The cash balance is the truth test of financial health. The rest is accounting trickery.I cannot help but note the irony of people telling me to do more research, whilst claiming the company is CF+ when the company's own financial statements show the opposite. People are evidently hanging their hopes on the vague single sentence reference to 'profitability' in a recent announcement.
