Hi @Bullelk thanks for your excellent and informative post. You will be accused of ramping soon also
I’m no geo and no mining background, but this is on page 12 of the Ann’s, note the last sentence, and more info on the Ann’s itself including the appendix. .
“The majority of drill samples were submitted to Jinning Testing & Inspection’s Perth laboratory. Samples were assayed by 30g fire assay ICP-OES finish from Jinning (FA30I). The multi element assay were performed through mixed acid digest ICP-OES finish (MADI33). The high-grade Sb samples are reanalysed by fusion method to obtain near total digestion. 1m samples from RDRC019 and RDRC020 were analysed by Intertek Perth with 25g lead collection fire assay. No portable XRF analysis results were used in this Estimate.”
Now this is probably stretching it a bit and I have no clue how much material is there in the tailings. At Hillgrove which was mined for antimony, the tailings contain gold. Could the tailings of Ardmore and Silverstone also contain Sb?
I also get the sense that more pulp testing can be done. But AB also stated they’ve reached a point where they’re going to drill baby drill. Looks like they can’t wait to test the extensions especially where it’s most fertile. As there’s 95% failure of discovery in exploration, for those that find one, it can also be extremely rewarding. Sx2 just keeps on finding the right stuff. And the deeper they go, the higher the au grade- no wonder they’re at circa $1.3 billion mcap now whilst still two years away from producing an inferred MRE. Those shoots in wa8 could lead to something very special indeed whether sb or au or both, that the current MRE ends up being the appetiser instead of the main course. In fact to prove up 3m oz at Ricciardo, wa8 still needs to find more. Now again for newbies, it seems it’s a common occurrence that there’s very high gold au grades at depth under grounds containing Sb and au. The sb tapers off but gold increases. The grounds of wa8 could present a new compelling study if it defies the norm.
If the bits can hit juicy stuff, I’m expecting AB to conduct more webinars to brief investors. They’re hungry for success. Investors aWA8
