If you choose not to put in more cash you get diluted and your holding becomes worth less .
imo the mkt cap won’t change just the number of shares on issue
if the raise is for a material purpose such as a security deposit for a new customer or something other than working capital then it can be viewed as positive.
in the last quarterly report we were told about all the money coming in , during April which may present as everying is just Jim dandy . Funny how we are not told what’s going out .
some may say it creates the perception that everything is fine cash wise .
here today the jury is out imo
but having to put your hand in your pocket is never great imo
