Other than Tesla there are no other hard rock refiners in NA so our unallocated spodumene will go to China/Asia untill that changes. Any OTA around our unallocated spodumene would be for supplying a refinery in NA which is years away from requiring it let alone considering it.
Any turn around in spod prices will be reflected in the spot market first and judging from LD's comments they are in no rush to be tied into an OTA for that reason.
IMO any refinery OTA would be tied into expanding NAL and thats not going to happen overnight.
