I agree with you Lionel, I do think we have to be very careful here. It is only early days as well.
I think we all agree that Potash is going to be very strong over the next few years.
I do agree that it is important that the correct price is paid for the asset. At this stage we have virtually no information about it except that it is apparently a world class/significant international potash asset and is somewhere in Central Asia.
I can understand peoples questions, considering that this is a three month old company that has listed at circa 10mill MCap and has seemingly pulled this out of left field. It does on the surface appear too rosy.
I think the key link is this chain however is Madame Cheung. This (and the GEM equity boost - which was a VERY good deal for FMJ) is what got me over the line.
Remember, she is the one that introduced FMJ to this potential purchase and would have ALL of the relevant information at her fingertips when making the decision to invest in FMJ. From what it appears her company are a significant investment operation. These Hong Kong operators are no fools and they will have their finger on the pulse.
We have no idea what sort of stake she is going to take in this yet, if it goes ahead. We could be wrong to assume that FMJ will take an 100% stake in the operation. Perhaps she is the mastermind behind it - which would make the idea that a tiny ASX micro cap could pull this off more plausible IMO
It seems that the Aussie mining connections and Terry Grammer's experience with Potash could be just the synergies these Hong Kong investors need to progress this.
Questions, questions????
Well tomorrow it looks like more will be revealed.
Can't wait...
