I would have rather she spent the time talking up the potential of the coming news flow. As a well spoken 180cm tall well groomed woman, she stood out plenty enough amongst the Geos and typical mining execs. Only the guy from Coda minerals was more odd and only Christian from Hot Chilli was better groomed. One thing to note is she made a point of not mentioning by name the local Aust developers in the same space, even though referencing them. At the booth her and the Geo/Met lady handed out packets of lollies with various rare symbols earths on them. I had one and threw the rest of the packet out, it was like sucking a sugar cube. It was their catch to draw in passer bys. I asked are we going to build a mine here or are we dressing the deposit for Sale. He reply "I cant answer that and you know that". I presume the reason she couldn't answer is because the intention has not being signaled to the market. FTL's geo on the other hand answered drill out and sell. I returned latter and asked the Geo/Met lady for an approximate time line to DFS/FID, she stoned walled and asked Phillipa to respond. They see 2 more yrs of met work de-risking the chemistry. They seem to see the Iluka plant as the destination of the product Considering the chemistry set side to the whole REE equation this is probably reasonable. I asked the Geo/Met lady about what sort of agreement they expected to get to value the components of the mix. The off takers pay based on the fractions however they need to see the same distribution of oxides to get consistent results on their end. We will have to blend when a section mined is different from the spec or presumably take penalties. I dont think this is not particular to us in the Rare earth space Currently the Ore body is predominantly consistent but further drilling and test work is required. Just my guess, I reckon we are dressing for sale,

theres a handful of Ree clay mines on earth, let alone non-ionic ones (is there even one?). On top of that, direct ship ore, on top of that some kind of plant to pre-concentrate it... No chance of this happening unless REE prices go 100x the company is already valued more than many REe explorers with better finds... what do they expect a buyer to pay? makes absolutely zero sense outside being a lifestyle company
