India is doing better than I thought it was. They’re reaching a lot of hospitals and the sales price they have been achieving is at above the top end of what I thought they’d been able to achieve.
Great news on recruitment in the U.S now that PNV is no longer seen as a risky unknown player but a well established and growing business.
More insight was given into the work with Beta Cell and how this could be a company maker in its own right. It’s still early days, but given BTM already has approval and any drug it is used for drug delivery will also be approved - it is possible that entry into this market could happen sooner than what the market thinks. This is potentially a massive market.
A great insight was that the procedure for this could be done under local anaesthetic with the patient fully awake, and they go home the same day! This is going to be a huge quality of life improvement for those that can access it. I’m quietly excited about the progress in this area.
