Is this not the whole basis of investing? Risk vs Reward. If there is a hair about of place, share price goes down, get the hairbrush out, fix it, share price goes up. If i was looking for a 4% return, i have a Macquarie bank account for that, never a hair out of place and low risk/low reward. Im here for real returns, I limit the risk as much I can by finding a stock I believe in and then invest. Once in I hang on for the ride because the rest of the decisions are no longer in my hands.

Fair point but to continue the allegory, what if you misplaced your hairbrush? Suppose you go to get a new one and the hairbrush store is sold out?
