The description by Dr Coates in the webinar was that they put the BTM on the patient and waited for integration then when the donor islets were available they introduced the cells into the vascularised matrix. Then they waited for the cells to "take" and start producing the insulin and other essential metabolic hormones such as glucagon.
This video was recorded in mid 2023 after the first trial patient with Dr Coates, and just prior to the 3 we have just heard about.
