    If Vale likes what they see after Stage 1, wouldn’t it be smarter to strike an early deal rather than free-carry CLE into Stage 2? If Sage’s involvement and his large % holding are scaring off potential investors, that only strengthens Vale’s hand — a 15c offer looks generous if CLE stays stuck at 5–7.5c. Strategic and efficient on their end.
