Obviously a pretty long timeline here which is why there's not much interest from the market - for the more astute investors, it's a no brainer to buy when there's no interest and just sit tight. There's no doubt in my mind that they'll be a significant surge in the share price as we get closer to the interim read out. Fingers crossed we may even get to see some more commercial deals announced.
For me, it's very clear that Santoz is now actively engaged in getting this trial to the finish line. The risk now is how well they manage capital up until interim read out - hopefully Paul has learnt a lesson on fiscal responsibility and how important it is to not run the tank dry.
I purchased DXB shares at its lows of ~ 7c when it had a active Ph3 and a 12+months wait for interim read out - all it took was a bit of patience and a lot of luck to now have made a very nice six figure return from a very small "punt". It's all about hunting those plays that have good risk/return ratios and in AVE's case a small punt can go a long way.
