    I think this is a good move by the Nationals. The Libs are probably incapable of reforming. If they keep listening to their enemies and continue moving left, they are finished. I suspect this is going to be the case as they have been thoroughly infiltrated by limp wristed "conservatives". When energy becomes a major issue, and it will, the Nats will be the only large(ish) party with any credibility.

    We may be witnessing a new political movement emerging on the right. Whether it is the Nats, the Nats combined with the major independents, or another group, something is going to emerge to appeal to the disenfranchised right of centre voters that hated what the Libs were doing, but had nowhere credible to direct their vote.

    This is fourth turning stuff.
