I think you missed the bit where I said wash layers on these old Tertiary systems can be upto 100m thick or more.

You're thinking a small river.

Did you know many of these old river systems were 5x wider than the Murray or Yarra rivers and that was not in flood.

Also they feed the smaller rivers and gullies with gold, (quarternery) where they crossed.

Conglomerates are certainly not quarternery as most times there on higher ground, than gullies and creeks.

The only issue with conglomerate deposits can be the patchy and nuggety nature. So exploration is more challenging to system wide grades.

If you go back in time, millions and millions of ozs came from old river systems.

Looking at grades and widths, if decent length, this deposit should easily be plus 250k oz.

Early days but these systems can have very high grade, in patches.

We just have to wait see. There track record is poor. Maybe they redeem here as area is 4km long, so decent.
