Exactly. In many ways I'd prefer this. There easy to explore as you are not following an ore body down.

You just follow the old river channel, sometimes these fan out on flats too.

So depth won't be crazy deep or too expensive to drill out.

Grades can be exceptional, especially Inner gutters, these exist as the water slows and gold drops out.

As this progresses, will be interesting to see any curves and what grades are obtained. Ie. Not the straights.

If anybody wants to understand conglomerate deposits, Kairos is worth a read.

Also deep leads in Victoria. Some are conglomerate, some not. But gives scope on size.

Reidy Creek, Beechworth to Eldorado is a deep lead. Millions of ozs from it.
