I have been following the AD and CVD thing pretty closely. in the CVD prelim determination the main importer, "panasonic china" was hit with a 6.55% tariff. while that seems small and it is, the anode producers were only seeking to prove state based subsidies exist in the graphite space. The large part of the tariffs come in the form of AD. This is where the alleged 828 to 921% come from. the large figures in the article are applied to two companies who did not comply with any requests for information during the investigation. this is a good win and an important first step.Next is July 16 for the prelim antidumping finding.
