The Age has done an analysis of projects in the budget and found at least 150 projects previously announced that have been delayed significantly, collectively in the $billions. Many relate to housing supply, domestic violence, health, hospitals, education and transport, but not the unwanted Suburban Rail Loop.
The Budget is supposed be about ‘Doing What Matters’. I would argue that title is a lie and Jacinta Allan has exhausted the spare cash jar and is only doing the bare minimum she can get away with.
