MYX was trading in the vicinity of $ 7.20 twelve months ago. Before Cosette.
There has been a push to say NO to the offer; because on an opinion that $ 7.40 was a "low-ball" offer.
Only Cosette knows why they wanted MYX but it is assumed they considered it to have good prospects and they could see some synergies with their company.
If they walk .. they walk.
The company is probably in a better position than it was 12 months ago and will probably be in an improved position twelve months later.
