re: ** 400,000 ozs. gold/year ** I'm looking at TYC closely but a couple of risks is holding me back and I'm hoping others, that have followed this longer, can help out.
1) Country risk. Do we know if the Pakistani government has a stake in this project? Do they hold any %? Any royalties to be paid?
2) Somebody mentioned that high tonnage but low grade can give economy of scale. I would have thought low grade = higher production cost per lb/oz. i.e. you have to process more dirt to get the $$$. I would have also thought that low grade exposes the miner to greater risk in the fluctuation of the metals prices. Any comments?
Cheers
