I am stunned by both the Panel's decision to decline to conduct proceedings and the muted reaction to it here!
So, is this where it ends for smaller minority shareholders who are unable to hold shares in an unlisted company - as yet another weak, ineffectual Australian institution fails to act, and in doing so empowers an oppressive majority shareholder to expropriate value from them with impunity? Or is there still something that can be done to defend against this travesty?
