Whether there is a settlement or not over the next week, one would expect the stock to run this week as rumors fly once the talks start.

For what its worth, Im expecting a settlement. With patent insurance in place, one would expect the company to go to the courts if Applera play hardball. Why let them off cheaply? Plenty of money in the bank to continue as a going concern untill the case is finished. Hence Applera is backed into a corner here. Time to pay up.
