To answer your question @slick see below. You will not that there are 7 instos/brokers who have a balance after the big dump on Monday 19 May. Especially Citi, GS and Virtu who have in total over 50M shares in surplus. This was compiled from broker data provided by a poster here. In particular Citi and GS bought their bulk on Friday 16 May (the day with the huge volume) at 82c. I am being generous when I suggest they have an average price of 75c, it is probably more like 80c. If its was a pump and dump orchestrated by the BEOT why were they the ones left standing when the music stopped in the musical chair? For there to be a successful P&D some one has to loose and be left with shares at a higher price, profit is just not created out of thin air. In this case it appears to be the instos themselves that were caught out yet you suggested that they may have started it. I am not accusing you of anything. The other point of note is that the music stopped on Friday after hours when LTR responded to the ASX query and LTR said they know nothing. Some big instos didn't get to sit down fast enough and now hold their shares at a much higher price than the current price. Something doesn't add up to me and I was hoping you or others could explain this particularly when it is these same instos which are downramping lithium and the future SP of LTR in the short/medium term. Any thoughts from an experienced trader that would explain this please? This is not some sort of trap by the way, I am just trying to understand what could have caused this strange result.Thank you for reading this and if you have no plausible explanation then we are both in the same boat. There is no question that it occurred and some profited but the instos below didn't, at least yet.
