Damn, I just posted a huge post in reply to you AJ, however, Hotcopper crashed..............great, I will need to try and remember everything I wrote.
Firstly, I concur with you AJ, in fact I apologise profusely for doubting our management there for a moment.
I did get on the blower and have a chat to those that be. I did not get anything that everyone is not entitled to know.
Firstly I think it is important that every one go back and read the pattersons document SLOWLY.
It is quite deceptive in itself. It states "delayed a second time", however, reading past the heading, doesnt it say maybe. What was said to he Pattersons broker was, it will be very tight timelines. Thats doesnt mean June 30, it just means, tight!!!. Sadly, management did not get to see the document prior to it going to the market and hence where the damage control with the phone and emails coming in flat out. Let us not forget the size of this monster, management need to get the DFS right, we will all be screaming if it comes back very incorrect, I am confident they are working hard towards the timeline
Once the broker report was out, there was NOTHING they could do about it. I spoke to them about how I felt as a long term shareholder about their lack of information to shareholders. Whilst we all know that we are sitting on an immense resource, we still need to be kept confident so the shorters and naysayers cant dissuade us from our decision to hold. And lets face it, it has been tough over the last year and I am sure some have fallen off along the way. I can only hope that my opinions will hold some strength to management, but I felt well respected as I always have.
As for the up and coming meeting, it is just that our office, has nothing to disclose at this time. The meeting is still scheduled for monday until further notice.
Should we vote yes or no. Well, this is an easy lot of money for EXT, with minimum cost to raise it. They will be needing the cash in the future.
IMO, this is a good deal for Mark Hohnen, however, Mark Hohnen, does want a good share price, so we do have a common denominator there.
I forgot to ask about what happens to votes where holders have voted but now cease to be holding..............but, I think what I do suggest is that if you want the company to have some easy dough, you revote yes online.
I suggested that maybe the price push down today was one in aid of closing the gap between kah and ext, or bringing ext price closer to the cap raising figure. This was not something that the person I spoke to had considered nor had an opinion of.
I hope this clears up some views for you all and I hope I have remembered it all. More than anything, I hope what I have said will not be misconstrued which seems so easy to happen between human beings.
Good Luck to those that shorted today
I put todays fall down to a lot of contributing factors,
1. A possible weak dow afer big rises
2. 2 poorly written covers by brokers
3. Locking in profits after big gains
4. Shorters having fun
