Hi Nikko,nice to see you onboard DEG.I've spent a fair bit of time researching DEG and hold a fairly large position in it.If people look back in the quarterly you'll find a comment about senior management being onsite in Santa Cruz until the end of February,as I understand it both the MD and the exploration manager have been over there so as the end of the month comes around I expect we might see them back with some news and possible assays from initial sampling in early March.Interestingly I tried to contact their Chairman ,Darren Townsend recently but was told he was currently overseas as well .....not sure if he is on holidays or overseas on business.
I haven't had much time recently to do much more digging on DEG as I've been busy researching some under the radar juniors holding leases in New Britain but I did notice recently that DEG's Beyondie leases which EMG have a JV with for iron ore(DEG retain all base metal rights)happen to adjoin HOR's Kumarina lease.DEG's ground lies diagonally southeast of Kumarina.Also noted in some old files that DEG have previously encountered 4%Cu in shallow drilling on those leases .....no deep drilling was ever followed up.Perhaps some discoveries by HOR at Kumarina might kick start some action at Beyondie.I do know that EMG is continuing to negotiate to try to buy out DEG's 20% free carry on the iron ore JV but DEG doesn't see the need for urgency and are sticking to their price and not discounting the value of their JV deal
