No point drilling deep at vuzel being a conglomerate based deposit.

These deposits basically run parallel to the surface, there not like reefs etc that go surface down, where you do go deep chasing it.

Most times these conglomerates are on elevated areas, higher than present streams, gullies and flats.

I'd put that down to none conglomerates, soft ground eroded around them, leaving them high.

After that phase, the next phase eroded some conglomerate materials into younger quaternary.

It is why most detected gold in shallow gullies is mostly waterworn. Smooth, not sharp, jaggered as not reef gold.

Initially before bring encased in conglomerate, it did get into the water courses via erosion of reefs, from bedrock etc.

It looks like raiden is drilling up a basin, it would be interesting to see if it is elevated above ground around it Basically a deposit on a hill.
