    There’s nothing right wing about criticising bad policy. The problem with Socialists is they’re too scared to question, let alone speak up. Labor voters have an ‘every man for himself’ mindset where they want as much ‘free’ stuff as possible, while blatantly ignoring the trillion dollar debt. And please don’t bother with the old covid debt argument, it was bipartisan

    Taxing unrealized gains is not about fairness it’s about covering the ballooning borrowing wherever they can. It’s a cash grab to pay for 10s of thousands NDIS houses that cost taxpayers $200K each per year (do the sums, is frightening), wind and solar farms that will all be on the scrapheap, need billions to replace them and be an ecological disaster in 15 years (but they’re renewable and green, right? lol) and funding the world’s largest and most inefficient public service per capita. Discussing the trajectory of the country and the serious issues we’re faced with on a general discussion thread is actually constructive. It’s not right wing, it’s the right thing to do
