Here's a classic example with what I'm talking about misleading information, let's break it down
Misrepresentation of Resource Grade
Fact: IXRʼs latest ASX releases and website state the resource is 617Mt @ 630 - 700ppm TREO (the grade varies by resource category and reporting cut-off). Selectively quoting the lowest figure misleads readers and omits the full context.
The 740ppm figure refers to the Stage 1 DFS area specifically (259Mt @ 740ppm)

Makuutu MREC is "free of radionuclides (Uranium and Thorium)", No radioactive waste dumping - this is a key advantage of IAC deposits over traditional REE mining, ASX Ruling
If IXR states on the ASX that there are no radionuclides, they are legally bound to be truthful. The company’s DFS, JORC resource, and all official disclosures confirm negligible uranium/thorium and no radioactive tailings. Any claim to the contrary is not supported by the facts or regulatory filings.

ASX release Ionic Absorption Clay, they are legally bound to be truthful. The company’s DFS, JORC resource, and all official disclosures confirms its IAC with all recoveries. Any claim to the contrary is not supported by the facts or regulatory filings.
What if the REO's Prices are low?
Rare Earth Oxide (REO) prices are at multi-year lows:As of May 2025, Nd₂O₃ and Pr₆O₁₁ (the main profit drivers for most Western rare earth projects) are trading around US$53–55/kg, For comparison, feasibility studies for many Western projects—including Australian and North American mines—assumed long-term prices of US$70–100/kg just to break even. Lynas, the largest non-Chinese producer, reported a drop in sales revenue in H1 2025 despite increased production, due to falling prices.
Australia’s Office of the Chief Economist notes that “low prices could cut cobalt and manganese production over the same period” and that NdPr output is only rising due to long-term strategic investment, not current profitability
Like I said, always do your own research, this is a Classic Example of identified the current resource grade 630ppm vs 740ppm combined this with demonstrably false claims about radioactive waste and deposit classification. This pattern of mixing facts with misinformation is particularly problematic, as it makes their posts appear credible while spreading false information.
As holders, just need to keep doing your own research Number 1 priority, don't take anything for granted, stick to Facts: Rely on company announcements, ASX releases, and independent analysis.
