Sanders’ findings suggest that the Met Office, the UK’s official weather service, reported temperature readings from 103 sites that simply do not exist.
Ghost Stations and Inflated Numbers
Of the 302 weather stations supposedly supplying rolling temperature averages, more than one-third were found to be fictional.
