    So if you have used usual open ended H blocks with mortar you then core fill them and you have a rated fire wall. Lots of factory unit dividing and sometimes boundary walls are done in that way and divisions in carparks etc etc etc The core fill with reo and also become structural with starter bars into slab. Also so used extensively with underground parking areas and basements where waterproofing is then applied to external core filled wall

    With anything constructed with this glue and perp ends open it will require both sides to have treatment to become rated. That all comes at a cost and has to be weighed up against any saving in $ and time in regards to machine or man who lays blocks.

    plenty of properties do not require fire rating
