Bloody hell you’ve turned this thread boring. How about some exciting things like standing a 6m steel RHS for a new power pole and finding 2 brown snakes under it. The snakes are dead and the pole is in. Just found a bellowing, hungry calf that looks to be the unloved one from a set of twins. Run it down in the paddock. Bring it home and the little beggar sucks like a pump. Looks like it hasn’t had colostrum which could be a problem. The first time we have been able to muster for ages. Still mud everywhere but at least we got them into the yards.
