gday mayi, CT:VQ is really CT:V + CT:Q combined.. there isnt a ct:q product but the ventilation element of ct:vq is the ct:v product which has a reimbursement of 650. so a doctor could order a CT:V scan and 4d could give them that (CT:V = ventilation) and a perfusion (CT:Q) scan bundled into that. And why wouldnt they want a complete functional analysis ie ventilation and perfusion. comparatively, a nuc:vq scan is reimbursed on average for 1150 so the overall healthcare system would benefit.
