I think you'll find if the US put on 900% tariffs on AAM tomorrow, there will be nothing wrong with Vidalia AAM. Tesla would come out and say they made a testing error.
The hardest part in making AAM in the milling and shaping. Vidalia have their own labs to test it. The pilot plant was up and running in 2020 so SYR have had plenty of time to perfect it.
Go ahead and believe a company CEO who is against tariffs and wants to continually buy cheap Chinese AAM. The Chinese wouldn't shut down his gigantic Shanghai plant and ban Tesla from selling EV's in China if he was for tariffs and stopped buying Chinese AAM and supported ex-China graphite companies would they.
